Duero river interpretative museum in Hinojosa de Duero
In these facilities, the town hall of Hinojosa has gathered one of the most varied collections of objects in three rooms. On the ground floor, visitors shall be able to discover the best works of the museum: a collection of Roman funerary steles, together with other archaeological objects.
On the first floor, the Room of the Young (Sala de los Jóvenes) includes varied collections of miniature cars and trains, objects of the old teleclubs (public places where people were able to watch television in rural areas), such as records, tapes, etc., and a large railway model, undoubtedly the most interesting asset.
he third room is the ethnographic one and includes a heterogeneous ensemble of domestic objects and farming tools. Next to the museum, at the tourist office, a new collection of mounted insects has recently been implemented, mainly exhibiting beautiful well-preserved butterflies. The tour ends after visiting the old restored oil mill.
