El Sendero del Aceite
This landscape influenced by the olive oil, its culture and the traces on the people of these villages, plays the most important role in this circular path which connects the historical site of San Felices de los Gallegos and the village of Ahigal de los Aceiteros.
The 11,4 km long path goes through plain grounds, full of almond and olive trees and from time to time interrupted by the presence of medieval stone fountains, hundred-years-old mills and Baroque bridges.
It is also worth a visit the Museum of the Olive Press of the World in San Felices de los Gallegos and the olive press in Ahigal de los Aceiteros.
