People who love hunting and fishing can also find in Salamanca places where they can practice their hobbies. The natural environments in the province, especially in the area of the Sierra de Bejar and Sierra de Francia, are the ideal place to enjoy an outing day in contact with nature.
Fishing
The rivers and tributaries which cross the province favour the formation of small lakes and building of reservoirs. Due to this fact, Salamanca is an ideal province to fish, especially salmonidae.
Hunting
In Las Batuecas, a charming valley in the south of the province (near La Alberca) we can find one of the regional reserves in Castile and Leon.
