During the summer season, also, the province of Salamanca offers interesting cultural activities such as Feria de Teatro of Castilla y León, held in Ciudad Rodrigo. In Béjar, in summer, it is celebrated the Festival Internacional de Blues. All July nights, blues and music lovers gather together for this annual date. Stars such as Buddy Miles, Joe Turner, Maceo Parker or Joe Louis Walker, and bands as important as The Yardbirds, Ten Years After or The Fabulous Thunderbirds have performed in this festival.
