The Candelario Sierra. Glacier summits and cirques

More than 10.000 hectares on mountainous land belong to this part of the Sistema Central from Salamanca. There are summits which are over 2.400 metres high.

There are summits, plains, glacier cirques from where currents of water fall down. Wide oak, pine and chestnut tree forests cover the slopes of the mountains as well as the magnificent Meadow of Candelario.
