The Camino Natural Vía Verde de la Plata, from Carbajosa de la Sagrada to Alba de Tormes

The route is about 20 kilometres long and crosses the municipalities of Alba de Tormes (declared Historical Site), Terradillos, Calvarrasa de Arriba, Arapiles and Carbajosa de la Sagrada.

The path is not difficult.The groud is plain and the path is especially charming, because it allows the hikers to enjoy the typical plains of the lands of Castile and Leon, its different colours, from the green meadows to the fallow lands and the cereal crops, as well as the meadow full of holm oaks and cattle.

The settings are really beautiful, the meadows, villages full of history and culture (Arapiles Battle); the route itself allows the hikers to enjoy different ecosystems of vegetation and valleys, among others.

The route finishes in Alba de Tormes, which is a Historical Site. Its history is linked to the House of Alba and Santa Teresa de Jesús. Her tomb and relics are kept in this villa.
